2. Classroom Management

Classroom management is important for teachers to have a control in the classes. Without classroom management, a class cannot function well. When we talk about classroom management, we talk about the ability and the skills that teachers must have to maintain a good control in the classroom. Also, we talk about the different techniques to be sure that class is going well and to be sure that students are organized, focus, well-behaved and productive during the classes.

The advantages of the classroom management

Let us talk about a story of a teacher. He did not use the classroom management with his students. So, students did not respect him, and they did not pay attention to him when talking. He had problems because students did not follow directions, and they started doing another thing. The problem finished when he was organized in the classroom. He planned everything, and he set some rules to finish the bad behavior that students had using the behaviorism theory. As we can see, classroom management is important to avoid problems and make students to go into learning.

How to implement the classroom management?  

Making rules

Teachers have to make rules before a course starts. With that, students will keep in mind what is going to bring wrong or good. Rules will not mean punishment. We have to avoid punishment, but teachers have to use a little bit of behaviorism to have control in the class.

Knowing students’ necessities

Teaches must know the needs from students. This helps teachers to be aware about how to use the methodologies to teach. If teachers know their needs, they can help students, and they can respond in a good way.

Have a strong plan

Planning a class is very important to have a successful class.  When teachers plan, they know what to do, students will be attach in the curriculum, and they will learn by the procedure of the lesson plan.

Having clear directions and procedures

At the moment of a procedure, it must be meaningful for students. For example, teacher cannot to teach how to pronounce by making writing activities, so the procedures have to be related. Teachers have to have clear directions for students not to be lost and make their tasks well.

Motivating

Teacher have to motivate students to learn. They can do it by making dynamics activities, using the rapport, innovating the way of teaching, and having meaningful relation among students and teachers 

Having a good classroom arrangement

Teachers need to use the space properly. They have to sit down students in a place where there is not distractions, and they have to be comfortable at seeing the board. Also, teachers have to have space to move from place to another. 

In conclusion, classroom management is great if we want to have a successful class. Students can be lost and misbehave, but classroom management can take control of bad situations. Teachers need to use classroom management.
